Find Odin's Glow

Please plan your journey

We advise you to plan your journey in advance to ensure you arrive in good time before your Odin's Glow bus departure time on your ticket. We advise that your arrival is a minimum of 20 minutes before your bus leaves at the time show on your ticket. The bus will leave on time.

The Odin's Glow shuttle buses

The Odin's Glow shuttle buses will take you both to and back from the Odin's Glow event to the same car park.

Please ensure you have your print out of the Odin's Glow e-ticket ready for inspection before boarding the buses.

The Odin's Glow shuttle buses will be double decker buses operated by Arriva North East. You may have the wait a few minutes for the shuttle bus to arrive from the pervious trip. Look out for Odin's Glow illuminations as you travel towards and from Roseberry Topping and Newton under Roseberry.

On arrival it will take up to about an hour and 20 minutes to explore Odin's Glow in the transformed village of Newton under Roseberry, please ensure you return to the bus drop off point at the time on your ticket to meet the return shuttle bus back to the park and ride. Please ensure you are at the bus point in the village to get on to your bus, as the bus will not wait and we cannot guarantee a seat on a later bus.

Please stay in the village on the public roadway and paths at all times unless directed otherwise.

Travel Directions:

By Car arriving from the west or easterly directions

Take the A 171 to Guisborough, Cleveland, follow signs into the Town Centre and in the main street Westgate follow the parking signs for Belmont House, Rectory Lane. Please park in the Belmont House car park then leave your car and walk back to Rectory Lane, the Odin's Glow buses leave from the Fountain St Car Park coach area very close to the Belmont Car Park.

Please consider car sharing where ever possible to reduce the events carbon footprint.

By Bus

Take the local area bus service to Rectory Lane or to Guisborough Market Place, Westgate and walk through New Road to Rectory. For bus schedules please look at: www.arriva.co.uk

Travel Directions:

Arriving From the East on the A171

Take the A171 Middlesbrough Road from the east to the roundabout signed for the A171 to Ormesby and Middlesbrough. Take the roundabout third exit for the A171 and in a half mile at the junction with the A174 for Ormesby and Redcar turn right on the A174.

After about a 1.5 miles at the roundabout for signed for the A1053 take the second exit for the A1053 Greystones Road. In about half a mile at the roundabout signed for the A1 trunk road A1058 and take the first exit onto the A1085.

In about half a mile at the second roundabout signed to Eston. Take the 1st exit and slip road to Church Lane and turn right towards Eston. After a mile turn right onto Fabian Road. After a short distance on Fabian Road on the right hand side look out for Eston Town Hall which has an octagonal building at its front and entrance to the Park and Bus Ride for Odin's Glow. Please park your car in the town hall car park and join your bus.

Arriving from the West on the A19

Take the A19 to exit for the A174 to Redcar. Travel along the A174 for about three miles to the roundabout signed for the A1053. Take the second exit for the A1053 Greystones Road. In about half a mile at the roundabout signed for the A1 trunk road A1058 and take the first exit onto the A1085. In about half a mile at the second roundabout signed to Eston.

Take the 1st exit on to Church Lane and turn right towards Eston after a mile turn right onto right onto Fabian Road.

After a short distance on the right hand side look out for Eston Town Hall which has an octagonal building at its front and the Park and Bus Ride for Odin's Glow. Please park you car in the town hall car park and join your bus.

By Bus

Take the local area bus service to Fabian Road Town Hall bus stop right outside the Town Hall car park entrance. For bus schedules please look at: www.arriva.co.uk
